Semicon West, the show case for the semiconductor production equipment manufacturer, was held at Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA. between July 14 and 16, 2009. Simultaneously held at the same facility was Inter Solar North America, the premier solar energy conference.

While 3Q Enterprises (so far) do not operate in semiconductor production, we went tnere primarily to contact a few would-be partner in the commercial imaging / machine vision / research support market place.
We've had a good meeting with a custom lens manufaturer / camera vendor to discuss the OWLink Digital Light Interface.

The picture on the left is a booth at Seiwa America Inc., doing the ad-hoc demonstration of OWLink adaptor kit attached to an HDMI video camera, showing the high definition image of the array of flash memory device dues on a wafer.

The industry is going for higher definition image for automated processing, and the cabling between the production floor and the image processing engine is a problem. We hope to provide the effective solution to this market place and if the dialogue with these people are of any indication, we will get there soon.

We went there also to attend Inter Solar to gather more information on Solar PV market place. We are not a big player there, but hoping to get moving soon. Since the mission was an information gathering, there isn't much to report here.

One thing we can say, though, that there is an excitement in the air, and however the state of the economy today might
